About Us

About US
Lashawn Robinson, grew up in the inner city and understands the importance of education in creating opportunities and cutting off the prison-to-pipeline. She realized the change in education, especially after COVID-19, where students are behind in reading and math. With the devaluation of creative arts education and the lack of affordable after-school programs, summer camps, and the closure of recreational centers, she knew she had to do something to make a change. Her goal is to save children and help them create a brighter future through education and creative arts.
What is our goal?
The goal of Tuart4u is to provide a school that integrates creative arts education with traditional academic subjects to create a safe and inspiring learning environment for children. The founder, Lashawn Robinson, aims to make education universal and accessible to all children, regardless of their background or location, and believes that schools should be a beacon for their communities.
5 Goals of Tuart4u:
1. To provide a safe and inspiring learning environment for children that integrates creative arts education with traditional academic subjects.
2. To make education universal and accessible to all children, regardless of their background or location.
3. To create a school that is a beacon for its communities.
4. To prioritize self-care and foster positive relationships with students.
5. To empower educators to lead fulfilling and balanced lives.

An ecosystem can be defined as a complex network of living organisms, their physical environment, and the interactions between them. In the context of a school and its surrounding community, an ecosystem can be defined as a complex web of relationships between students, teachers, parents, community members, local businesses, and the natural environment.

At its core, the school ecosystem includes the physical school building and its surroundings, the students and staff who inhabit it, and the academic programs and extracurricular activities that take place within it. Beyond the school itself, the surrounding community also plays a vital role in shaping the ecosystem. This includes the local neighborhoods, businesses, and natural environment that students and staff interact with on a daily basis

In order to create a healthy ecosystem for a school and surrounding community, it is important to foster positive relationships and open lines of communication between all stakeholders. This may involve engaging with local businesses and community organizations to provide resources and support for the school, encouraging parents to get involved in their children's education, and promoting sustainability and environmental awareness in the surrounding area.
Ultimately, a healthy school ecosystem is one that promotes the well-being of all its members, fosters a sense of community and belonging, and supports academic and personal growth for students and staff alike

This involves discussing their goals, values, and preferences for their child's education, as well as understanding their child's learning style, strengths, and areas for improvement. By collaborating with parents or guardians, educators can create a more personalized education plan that aligns with the child's needs and interests. This partnership can also help to ensure that the child receives the necessary support and resources to succeed academically and personall
